Clay Squared to Infinity ReBranding
Challenge
As Clay Squared continues to grow and evolve, we were asked to rebrand the handmade tile studio and showroom concept so as to modernize it's look and feel, thereby appealing to both professional Architects and Designers while still maintaining the company's accessibility to a consumer market. Part of the challenge of it's marketing materials is that it must both sell and educate the consumer about how and why to use Clay Squared to Infinity tiles.
Solution
We utilized the previously existing logo rocket and reworked the hand drawn type into a mark that is more legible and rocketing into space. We chose a modern san serif font with soft edges that gave it's cosmic characters space. To add flexibility to the logo and its many applications we included branding elements such as orbs, rings, and photo textures. The textures are focused on close-up photos of the cosmic tiles themselves as the inherent beauty of Clay Squared tiles is in the details of their handmade character.
